Obituary of Dolores J. Jasinski

Dolores “Dee” Jasinski, 68, a longtime local resident, passed away on September 17, 2020 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, Newburgh. Born June 25, 1952 in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marjorie Heady Gadapee. Dolores was an avid reader who loved to do crossword puzzles and word searches, listen to the radio, and watch Westerns on TV. She was also known to attend many Penny Socials locally. Survivors include her daughters, Dawn Jasinski of Poughkeepsie, Kristy Jasinski of Endicott, NY and Alicia Freymuth and husband, Justin of Poughkeepsie and their children, Alexis and Ronda; her sister, Winona Joyce and husband, David of Wappingers Falls; her brother-in-law, John Sokol of Wappingers Falls; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant sister, Marjorie Gadapee and sister, Minnie Sokol. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
