Obituary of Nettie Cifelli

Nettie Cifelli, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Monday, August 3, 2015 at Wingate at Beacon. She was 97. Daughter of the late Paolo and Angelina Failla Marturano, she was born July 9, 1918 in the Bronx. She was married to Anthony Cifelli who preceded her in death in January of 1972. She is survived by her sons, Anthony Cifelli of Wappingers Falls and Joseph Cifelli of Colorado; her sister, Sophie Marturano of Wappingers Falls; as well as her grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Lauren and Danielle. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson.
