Obituary of Surender K. Minocha

Surender Minocha passed away on October 3, 2019 at the age of 85.

 A native of India, Surender lived in Switzerland after getting his degree in electrical engineering from IIT and then moved to the United States with his family in 1974. The family lived in Illinois, Ohio and Rochester, NY before settling in the Hudson Valley where Surender was employed by IBM until he retired.

Surender will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Renu, sons Udit (Meg) and Nikhil (Wendy), and two grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday October 5 from 9:30 to 11 a.m.  at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls. Cremation will follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, 342 South Avenue in Poughkeepsie.
