Obituary of Serina L. Williams

Serina Lee Williams, 33, of Poughkeepsie passed away suddenly on January 29, 2014. She was born on September 26, 1980 to Sharon Sherow and Archie Williams. Serina was employed as a Home Health Aide in Dutchess County. Naturally, she did what she did best which was caring for others. Serina will most be remembered for her greatest pride and unconditional love for her six children as well as her unique personality and ability to enjoy life. Serina would drop everything to help someone in need and would give anyone the shirt off her back. She enjoyed listening to music, reading books and being with her family. Serina is survived by her parents, Sharon Sherow and Archie Williams; her step-mother, Sandy Meyers; her beloved children, Alexzandra, Alexis, Isabella, Breana, Nickolas, and Leland; her beloved sisters, Savanna Sherow and Samantha VanTassell and her children, Michael, Jordan, and Jo'vonni; her beloved brothers, A.D. Williams, Michael Albertson and Scott Williams; her grandmother, Josephine Sherow; along with a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Cynthia Smart. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 161 Mansion Street, Poughkeepsie with Rev. Tyler Jones officiating.
