Obituary of Donald H. Woodside

Donald H. Woodside of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 75. Son of the late Cleveland and Eliza Russell Woodside, he was born on December 24, 1937 in Miami, Florida. He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Lorna Pace Woodside. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Woodside worked as an engineer for IBM in Fishkill. He was also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing. In addition to his wife, Lorna, he is survived by his children, Donald F. Woodside of San Diego, CA, David B. Woodside of Los Angeles, CA, and Pamela E. Woodside of Los Angeles, CA; and his grandchildren, Asia Nicole Woodside and Dakota Sellah Woodside. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. Additional services with interment will be held in Miami at a later date.
