Obituary of Marie Zerbo Sarubbi

Marie Zerbo Sarubbi passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on June 21, 2013. Marie was born on October 6, 1937 to Anita Vinciguerra and Leopold Zerbo. She married the love of her life Nicholas Sarubbi on March 23, 1973. He predeceased her on February 2, 2010. Marie loved the theater, singing and dancing. She leaves behind a family who will miss her deeply including her sisters, Camille Zerbo and Loretta Romanello; her daughters Lisa Marie French and husband George and Deanna Lynn Cerullo; granddaughter, Toriea Marie Brown, husband Richard and great-granddaughter Isabella Marie; granddaughter Victoria Nicole French and fiancé Terry Muller; grandson Jason Charles French and girlfriend Heather Boland as well as, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be private. The family would like to extend their thanks to the numerous medical personnel who helped in Marie's time of need. Specifically, the staff of the oncology care unit at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
