Obituary of Janice Hanlon King

Janice Hanlon King of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 71. Daughter of the late Charles and Lorretta Shook Hanlon, she was born on September 24, 1941 in Milbrook. She married Myles King on March 16, 1994 at the Reformed Church in Beacon, where she was a member; Mr. King preceded her in death, passing on July 23, 2009. Survivors include her son, Anthony Hanlon and his wife, Kim of Highland; and her siblings, Frank Hanlon, Alma Campbell, Barbara Dunlavey and Charles Hanlon. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street in Wappingers Falls. A memorial service will follow visitation at 11 a.m. at the funeral home; Rev. Jan Fritzinger will preside.
