I met Richie at the peace vigil at the corner of 9D & 9. He was the most stalwart and modest activist I've ever known. No matter the weather, Richie made it there. He was one of the too few who talked about the unique demolition of 3 buildings on 9/11 and the police state the USA is becoming today. I loved talking with him and hanging out with him. So, so sorry he got sick & sorry about all the trouble he experienced the last few years. What a great, great person he was. I will miss him so much. My very deep condolences to you.

I joined Richard in weekly anti-war protests in Wappinger and elsewhere. He was committed to the struggle to make this country a place that prioritizes the value of human life. We'll miss him.
