Obituary of Patricia Ann Caccomo

Patricia Ann Caccomo of Wappingers Falls, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 59. Daughter of the late William and Patricia Ann Cahill Fragner, she was born August 17, 1953 in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx. She had a true appreciation for all animals from the time she was growing up. Patti graduated from John Jay High School in East Fishkill. She worked for many years at Quinn's Restaurant in Beacon and was a volunteer EMT with the Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corps. From her experience as a fabulous mother and grandmother, she found her true calling as "Ms. Pat" at the Children's Home in Poughkeepsie. She married Paul Caccomo, Sr. on August 27, 1978; Paul survives at home. Patricia truly loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed jewelry making and was known for her crocheting blankets. Most importantly, she will be remembered as an exceptional wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, William Incremona and his fiancée, Erin Brunette, Julie Incremona-Ludlow and her husband, Brian Ludlow, Paul Caccomo and his wife, Lisa Delgado Caccomo and Kevin Caccomo and his fiancée, Victoria Luddy; her siblings, William Fragner, Linda Rutherford and her husband, Dave, Stephen Fragner, Tina Hansen and Maura Crispi; her grandchildren, William, Xenia, Liam, Anya, Donovan, Ethan, Jaidyn and Ninalyse; her several nieces and nephews; her best friend, Barbara Geslain; her beloved new puppy, Bailey; as well as her co-workers and great friends including her book club buddies. Family will receive their friends on Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 22 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Route 9 in Fishkill.
