Obituary of Lucille M. Kenny

Lucille M. "Lucy" Kenny, of Wappingers Falls, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 with her daughters by her side. Lucy was a resident of Wingate at Dutchess in Fishkill. She was born to the late George and Freda Boos in New York City on March 14, 1926. Lucille was married to Philip T. Kenny on February 4, 1949. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2006. In 1984, Lucy and her husband moved to Wappingers Falls to be closer to her family. Lucy had a loving and giving heart and she will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her daughters, Arlene Jutt and her husband, William of Wappingers Falls and Lucille Smith and her husband, Brian of Lido Beach, Long Island; her grandchildren, Jason Jutt and wife, Carla DelTreste-Jutt, Michael Jutt and wife, Stephanie White, Kelly Kimler and husband, Jay, Kimberly Ahearn and husband, Sean, Melissa Smith, Jessica Smith, and Christopher Smith and her great-grandchildren, Kailey, Liam and Rory Ahearn and Anna, Emelia and Michaela Jutt. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 29 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls.
