Obituary of Margie Flaccavento

Margie Flaccavento, a resident of Carmel and former New Hamburg resident, entered into rest Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel. She was 38. Daughter of Nunzio Flaccavento of New Hamburg and the late Rose Ann Petrone Flaccavento, she was born December 4, 1973 in Poughkeepsie. Margie worked with PARC in Mahopac. In addition to her father, she is survived by her brother, Joe Flaccavento and his wife, Melissa of Wappingers Falls; her niece and nephews, Julianna, J.J. and Givanni; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Rose Ann Flaccavento in April of 1995. Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls.
