Obituary of Elizabeth Patane

Elizabeth Patane, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 50. Daughter of Stephen and Marie Radzinski of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, she was born October 24, 1961 in Long Branch, New Jersey. On November 14, 1981, she married Mark A. Patane in Setaucket, New York. Mr. Patane survives at home. Beth worked with Allstate Insurance Company in Suffern. Beth enjoyed traveling and loved her motorcycle. She was active in the community and had a strong involvement and leadership in several charitable organizations for many years. She helped put together several Bike Runs benefitting different charities. She was an organizer in her neighborhood and was a member of the Riverview Neighborhood Association. Most importantly, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be truly missed by many. In addition to her parents and husband, Beth is survived by her children, Adam Patane and his fiancée, Jenna Smith of Poughkeepsie, Matthew Patane of Poughkeepsie and Mikki Patane of Wappingers Falls; her grandson, Lucas Wilson and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls.
