Dear Al and family,
So very sorry to hear of Louise's death. My mother, Helen (Shaker), was a longtime friend and classmate of hers and as you well know cherished Louise. So many times my mother spoke of their years together. Even as her mind was failing her, she would always be able to tell me about her schoolmates and the memories they shared. My mother's friendship with Louise and Al is something I know she treasured and I would like to think that perhaps they're together again commenting on how "today's nurses" wouldn't pass muster in their day.
