Our angel is now up in heaven looking down on us. I will miss her smile and warmth. Joanie had a wonderful way of steering the conversation away from herself and back to me. She never hung up without saying "I love you". Please accept Jud's and my sincere condolences. Sadly, I am not able to attend the services for Joan. I am in Florida with a broken wrist and of few bruises from a fall. I will always have a special place in my heart for Joan.

What a beautiful obituary for a beautiful person. I worked with Joannie for about 7 years. It was an honor to walk the halls with such a great person. Joannie was sunshine. You'd see her..... and just smile.
Some of the best moments of Joannie happened with her sidekick Marianne. Watching the two of them, "ying and yang", was like watching great comedy act.
I have many little memories of joanne, Gettysburg, her retirement...or just the countless GENUINE compliments you knew you'd receive on a daily basis.
Although I am sad for our loss....I am happy, knowing she's in a better place, pain free, and with her Vic. I am happy to have known such a wonderful person..she's simply irreplaceable.
