Obituary of Lenore A. Ciccone

Lenore A. Ciccone, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 56. Daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor Constantino Ponsrock, she was born November 14, 1955 in Yonkers. Lenore married Brandon Ciccone on March 19, 1983 in White Plains. She was his loving and devoted partner in both life and business for over thirty years. Lenore was Secretary, Treasurer and Controller for Ben Ciccone, Inc. in Poughkeepsie. She was most importantly a devoted mother. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Tara and Brandon,Jr.; her brother, Joseph Ponsrock and his wife, Cathy; her mother-in-law, Rosetta Ciccone; her sister-in-law, Deborah King; her brother-in-law, Bennett Ciccone, Jr. and his wife, Paula; and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday January 6 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 7 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wappingers Falls.
