Obituary of Patti Franco VanVliet

Patti Franco VanVliet Patti Franco VanVliet, a resident of Poughkeepsie, entered into rest Monday, January 3, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 63. Daughter of the late Marco "Mike" Franco and Rose Sagnelli, she was born May 14, 1947 in the Bronx. Known as Patti Franco, she was a singer, musician and entertainer in the area for over 30 years. Survivors include her daughters, Cathleen Bailey of Lake Katrine, Christine "Tina" Loveday of Poughkeepsie, Susanne Ziolkowski of Port Ewen and Ashley VanVliet of Port Ewen; her brother, Charles Franco; her sisters, Diane Eisgruber, Barbara Criscione; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Steven, Kirsten, Alex, Jeremy, Samantha, Danielle, Zachary and Noelle and her nephew, Thomas Criscione. Family will receive their friends on Friday, January 7, 2011 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 8 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, South Avenue, Poughkeepsie.
