Obituary of Arvinder Kohli

Arvinder "Arvi" Kohli Arvinder Kohli, a resident of Hopewell Junction, entered into rest Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Westchester Medical Center. He was 57. Son of Basant Chadha Kohli and the late Rajinder Kohli, he was born July 31, 1952 in Chandigarh, India. He married Arvinder Meenu Kohli in New Delhi, India. Mrs. Kohli survives at home in Hopewell Junction. In addition to his mother and wife of thirty years, he is survived by his daughter, Sabreena Selness and her husband, Kurt; son, Sarbjeet Singh Kohli; three sisters, Indira Kahlon, Kamal Soni and Parminder Wallia and their husbands; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Baljeet and Vashdev Singh Kohli. He was the owner of Jewelry Annex in Wappingers Falls for forty years. He was a member of the Mid-Hudson Sikh Cultural Society, Wappingers Falls. The Kohli family will receive family and friends on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Friday, November 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 13 at the funeral home. Private cremation will follow.
