Obituary of Christine M. Planck

Christine M. Planck Christine M. Planck of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Friday, August 29, 2008 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 55. Daughter of the late Floyd and Marion Miller Dugan, she was born on October 11, 1952 in Kingston. She married the love of her life, Raymond E. Planck, III on December 30, 1973 at St. Mary's Church in Kingston; Mr. Planck survives at home. Throughout her life, Christine worked for various local agencies in their accounting offices. When her children were born, she decided to devote her life to making a warm and loving home for her husband and two sons. When her boys were young, she was very active in their schools and Parent-Teacher associations. Christine also sat on the board of St. Mary's Parish Council for two terms, where she was a loyal parishioner. In addition to her husband, Raymond, she is survived by her sons, Raymond E. Planck, IV and Jason C. Planck, both at home in Wappingers Falls; her brother, James Miller and his wife, Elvira of Stockton, CA; her sister, Catherine Miller of Kingston; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive their friends on Monday, September 1, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, September 2 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wappingers Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Christine's name to the American Cancer Society, 45 Reade Place, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
