Shirley was a beautiful women and never looked age. She always had a smile on her face and kind words yo say to everyone. I grew up knowing her from John's blvd and baby sitting her girls. May she rest in peace

Shirley was one of those longtime customers who became a friend. How often did I serve her up some coffee at the coffee counter at Adams in Poughkeepsie. She NEVER failed to brighten my day - most of the time bringing full on laughter to our too brief moments. May the God of all comfort bring the Peace of Christ to the family. May the sweet memories of such a lovely woman bring blessings to all who knew her. I know she blessed my life.

I knew Shirley quite well when we were in High School and also in the neighborhood. I am sorry to hear of her passing. I think of her and Johnny often through the years. Sadly we lost touch when I moved to another part of the hudson valley. She was so much loving fun. I always enjoyed running in to her when I went back to Poughkeepsie to visit family. I'm so sorry to hear of mom’s passing. I will always cherish spending time with your family. To say she loved joking around and putting a smile on everyone’s face is an understatement. She had a true gift to add joy to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. I loved her crazy Halloween costumes, dancing in the living room to her favorite artists and participating in the church softball games.
